The Hispanic Heritage
Baseball Museum, Inc.,
was established in San Francisco CA in June 1999,
as a not for profit institution, 501 (c)(3). It is dedicated to, recognizing
the contributions made to baseball by it's Hispanic players.
The Hispanic Heritage Baseball Museum is committed to preserving the history
and profound influence that Hispanic players have had on "America's
Favorite Past Time". Our primary purpose is to provide a center where
displays of Hispanic baseball history will educate visitors on the true
meaning of diversity, as exemplified in sports. We also offer traveling
exhibitions of our prized collection through out the year.
The HHBM will display momentos of Hispanic Major League players of the
past and present. The museum will be built on donations from corporate
sponsors, private donors, and fund raising activities.
The formation of the HHMB is a "labor of love" begun by it's
Founder, President and CEO - Mr.
Gabriel (Tito) Avila, Jr.
HHBM Officers and Members of the Board of Directors include Major
League players, baseball Hall of Famers as well as prominent citizens
from the private and public sectors of the community.
Join us in celebration of our colorful heros of Baseball, past and present.
